This website (kawis.dev) is operated by KAWIS STUDIO S.R.L., a company registered in the Republic of Moldova (IDNO 1024602001752). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Scope
This policy covers this website and the emails you send us. It doesn’t cover our apps: each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its App Store page.
What we process and why
Visiting the website
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare’s network. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested and the time of the request. We don’t use this data to identify you.
Why: to deliver the website securely and keep it working (our legitimate interest).
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, the referring website, country, device type, browser, operating system and page load performance. It works without cookies or local storage and doesn’t fingerprint visitors. The analytics script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. We only see aggregated statistics.
Why: to understand interest in our website and improve it (our legitimate interest).
We don’t load fonts or other resources from third parties, apart from this analytics script.
Emails
If you write to hello@kawis.dev, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message.
Why: to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss or perform a contract with you.
We don’t process special categories of personal data, don’t make automated decisions about you and don’t build profiles.
Cookies
We don’t set any cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance, when its protection features check for automated traffic. They’re used only for security.
Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, delivery, security and analytics. Cloudflare acts as our processor for website traffic data and as an independent controller for some data it uses to secure its network. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Namecheap, Inc.: email hosting (Private Email). See Namecheap’s privacy policy.
We don’t sell or rent personal data and don’t share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep data
- Emails: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we need them longer for a contract or a legal obligation.
- Analytics: Cloudflare keeps detailed data for a short period and aggregated statistics for up to six months.
- Technical logs: kept by Cloudflare under its own retention policies. We don’t keep server logs ourselves.
Your rights
Under Moldovan Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection, and the GDPR where it applies, you can ask us to:
- give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- give you a copy in a portable format.
Write to hello@kawis.dev. We’ll reply within one month. For complex requests we may extend this by up to two more months and will tell you why.
Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova (Centrul Național pentru Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal): str. Serghei Lazo 48, MD-2004 Chișinău, centru@datepersonale.md, datepersonale.md. If you live in the EU, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Children
This website isn’t directed at children under 14, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
